For those without an inhouse conservator, Harwell’s panel of restoration conservators can provide conservation surveys, preventative conservation advice, rebinding, reframing and conservation treatment of items, including paper, works of art, textiles, ceramics, furniture and metal. We can also provide high-quality scanning of archival documents. This work is carried out in conservation studios, with work conducted by conservators or under direct conservator supervision to ensure that the handling of sensitive material is exemplary.
