Harwell's Salvage and Practical Disaster Recovery Course focuses on procedures for successful recovery and restoration of damaged collections after fires and floods. The training event should equip attendees with skills and confidence minimise damage to buildings and contents after fires and floods, and to handle and triage damaged paper effectively.
The program has been compacted into a half-day course to offer a cost-effective but dynamic training event for individuals working in the information services, records management and heritage sectors. You can elect to attend either in the morning or the afternoon.

Due to the practical nature of this course, places are limited so to avoid disappointment, please reserve your place early.
Costs and Course Information
Costs for attending the course will be £89/ €125 + VAT for Priority Users, £139/ €199 + VAT for non Priority Users. Organisations who book two or more places on either this course or the Emergency Planning Course will obtain a 5% discount on each place. Please note that refunds cannot be given if cancellations are made 14 days before the course.
